Persons in charge for the direction of L? Did popular education launch this Wednesday, a call to the illiterate Gabonese population, L? inviting to S? to register in the centers D? elimination of illiteracy quasi deserted from the country.

“We deplore the fact that our programs do not touch the illiterate population mainly. Because concerned the S? do not register masses some within our respective centers. But large east our surprise lorsqu? one makes the statistics, one finds a rate D? did illiterates with the top of our waitings”, entrust the director of L? Popular Eéducation, Genevieve Assangono Olui.

Indeed, “even if the rate of illiteracy is relatively low for the area, puisqu? one counts only 27% D? illiterates at the most 15 years (including 34% women), these rates however dissimulate strong disparities between the provinces and the urban environments. Thus overall, one raises 21% of illiterates in urban zone against 49% in rural zone and 15% in the urban population of the province of the Estuary against 60% in Ngounié”, At it explained.

Thus it added that “L? is objective D? to eliminate the rate D? elimination of illiteracy in Gabon. Moreover, we have a programme of reintegration with L? home economics. Indeed, after the phase D? are elimination of illiteracy, learning them subjected to L? training D? a trade which will allow them D? to integrate the company objectively”.

C? why, it, “we are concluded launch a particular call to all the illiterate Gabonese population with S? to register massively within the centers D? elimination of illiteracy. Because in each province, the Gabonese government built a center in order to allow the reintegration of the illiterates.
